come from a wide range of backgrounds, all with a common interest in engaging with art and ideas, and
supporting local arts and our thriving community.
Annual TAS Membership gives you access to:
● ability to participate in two annual member exhibitions
● eligibility to apply and hold your own solo exhibitions at TAS
● reduced fees for attendance at classes, groups and for excursions
● access to our vast library of art resources
● notification of art events, grants etc in the wider community
● use of the “Culliford House” facilities
● be part of a supportive group of like minded folk

Alternatively you may become a member or renew memberships in person at Toowoomba Art Society. We accept cash, EFTPOS, cheques and direct deposit.

As a member of TAS, you may be eligible to receive discounts on some special workshops, functions and events as well as have access to the TAS library.
Public Liability Insurance to $20M.
Eftpos is available at TAS. A $1 fee applies for anything other than Artwork Sales.
Membership fees have remained reasonable for many years. This is due to our ‘User Pays’ fee system whereby Members pay $5 per session towards light and power and general maintenance. Non-members may join certain classes but must pay a $10 User Fee in addition to model fees and any tutorial costs. Tea and coffee are available when using Culliford House.
In order to participate in the annual Members’ Spring Exhibition you must be a financial member of Toowoomba Art Society.
Under the requirements of becoming a member of the Toowoomba Art Society which is a Company limited by guarantee, you agree to pay up to $10 should the Company be wound up (this being the guarantee in accordance with the Company’s guarantee).
